HBO Dropped New Photos for 'Game of Thrones' Season Eight. They Look Ominous. – Esquire.com

I know it feels like winter will never come, but I assure you, it’s gonna be here eventually. After a few brief teaser trailers last month, HBO has finally shared the first images of Game of Thrones Season Eight.

The photos don’t reveal much, but you can imagine fans will find some hints in these shots of the major characters. One quick observation is that everyone here seems mildly concerned. What’s got them worried? The fact that an army of undead hell bent on destroying humanity has just broken down their one defense that has protected the realm for thousands of years? That a famous aunt and her famous nephew are fucking? That the realm is in chaos because these people are a bunch of bickering assholes? Probably all of the above!

Anyway let’s take a look!
