Lifestyle Publisher InsideHook Partners With Curacity As It Expands Travel Coverage With “The Journey” – PRNewswire

NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — InsideHook, the premium lifestyle guide for established men, has expanded its partnership with Curacity, a data analytics company monetizing the full financial impact editorial content has on direct hotel bookings.

“The Journey” is the newest addition to InsideHook’s portfolio of seven email newsletters focused on the best in the world of luxury travel: hotel openings, exclusive experiences and events, actionable tips from industry insiders, and special sales and promotions to help readers jet-set more intelligently. The newsletter is published weekly, reaching some 400,000 readers.

To help gain insights into the type of hotel properties their audience is most likely to engage with, InsideHook is utilizing Curacity’s proprietary Omni-channel Revenue Attribution (“ORA”) product suite. Curacity, in turn, helps InsideHook generate revenue through its editorial recommendations. When InsideHook’s readers engage with content about a Curacity partner hotel and subsequently book a stay at that property, the company’s ORA is able to track the conversion and provide a commission to the publisher. Up to a 12-month revenue attribution window exists after readers first view a particular destination.

“Our editorial team spends countless hours searching for the most interesting, exciting and actionable travel content for our readers. We want to know that our recommendations resonate with our audience beyond just clicks, and having access to information that tells us what types of properties our readers are booking — in the aggregate and anonymous, of course — allows us to experiment and improve our offerings, “says Eli London, Director of Partnerships at InsideHook. “The fact that Curacity also funnels us referral commission certainly doesn’t hurt, either.”

“Having a respected, lifestyle publisher like InsideHook make a new investment in travel and hotel content is a watershed moment,” said Mike Keriakos, CEO and Co-founder of Curacity. “This demonstrates that publishers can earn incremental revenue from amplifying their editorial content on hotels with Curacity, and ultimately, the readers are rewarded by increased editorial coverage on the world’s best hotels.”
