Hallmark Channel drops Lori Loughlin amid college admissions scandal – Page Six

Hallmark has decided to cut ties with actress Lori Loughlin — the longtime face of its cable channel — following her arrest in the ongoing college bribery scandal.

The company distanced itself from Loughlin in a statement on Thursday, saying it was “saddened” by the allegations she’s facing.

The former “Full House” star has been a mainstay on the Hallmark Channel — starring in numerous shows and movies since coming on board in 2013.

Loughlin was one of dozens of people to be charged in the ongoing college admissions scandal, with prosecutors accusing her of paying her daughters’ way into the University of Southern California.

Her youngest, Olivia Jade Giannulli, has also been facing backlash and she, too, saw one of her business partnerships end on Thursday as a result.

The makeup company Sephora decided to give Giannulli the ax on account of her mother’s alleged involvement.

Loughlin and her lawyer, Perry Visconti, have yet to comment on Hallmark and Sephora’s decision to cut ties.
