Reader question: Any update on the future Kwik Trip locations in the area? I thought there was going to be one by the roundabout at CE and Debruin, but I don’t see any signs or survey markers.

Answer: Kwik Trip’s coming location at County CE at County HH/Debruin Road in Combined Locks is listed on its 2020 construction schedule, according to records from the company’s real estate office in La Crosse. No start date has been set.

Meanwhile, the Kwik Trip on W. Wisconsin Avenue at Westhill Boulevard in Grand Chute, next to the WG&R development, is on the company’s 2019 construction schedule with work starting in August. It will open around Christmas.

After it opens, a Kwik Trip a block away on W. Wisconsin Avenue will close. It had been cut off from westbound traffic by a new median.
