European gossip: Hazard wants Manchester United star at Madrid, United target to Juventus – LancsLive
Clubs can now start to preparing for the new campaign and this has already seen many sides dip into the transfer market to secure new additions – and others are likely to follow suit in the coming weeks.
On a local level, Burnley could face a fight to keep James Tarkowski following interest from both Leicester City and Wolves.
Here’s some of the latest transfer rumours and gossip from the contient – which we’ve rated for you.
Hazard responds to Pogba and Mbappe links
New signing Eden Hazard has responded to the prospect of being joined by Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid .
“I want to play with the best, and those you mention are the best,” Hazard said when asked directly about Pogba and Mbappe at his opening press conference.
“But it’s not for me to say about transfers.”
Likelihood: No surprise that he wants more big names around him. Frankly the idea of Hazard and Mbappe in the same team is enough to have me waking up in a cold sweat.
Rabiot speaks out
Adrien Rabiot has confirmed he is in talks with Juventus as he prepares to finally resolve his future this summer.
Whilst on holiday with his mother, who also acts as his agent, in Italy’s Porto Ercole resort, he told Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport: “Juventus are a big club who everyone would like to play for.
“It’s true, we are having some talks.”
Likelihood: He really wants to move to a big club doesn’t he? But do they want him? He clearly has a talented agent.
West Ham ace wanted in Italy
West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna has emerged as a transfer target for Bologna, according to reports in Italy.
Il Resto del Carlino claim they are determined to bring the former Juventus star back to Italy.
The centre-back has played over 100 Premier League games in four years with the Hammers.
Likelihood: Ogbonna is a classy player and it was something of a coup for the club since they signed him. They’ve been disappointing in that time. An exit makes sense.
