Four businesses — two new and two that relocated — are ready in Neenah, Appleton and Winneconne.
Open
Three of David Earle’s kids — Adam, 12; Jacob, 16 and Madeline, 18 — are getting a crash course in running a business in their new blue-and-white Snobiz snow cone trailer in the parking lot of their dad’s Cranky Pat’s Pizzeria & Pub on Commercial Street in Neenah.
“My accountant looked at me a little warily, but the education they get out of this is invaluable,” said Earle. “I’m really trying to let them handle the whole spectrum of the business.”
He gave them seed money, to be paid back, and said the venture wasn’t expensive. “We got a used trailer, which Madeline and her friends painted.”

Moved
La Belle Maison’s new Menasha location didn’t work out, so owner Sandi Pufahl moved to 303 N. Commercial St. in Neenah, the former Blue Moon Coffee Shop. She’ll have a grand opening Saturday for the interior design studio and retail shop.
Relocated
Tracy Van Zeeland made her new M.C. Kinney Photography location official with an exterior sign this week at 213 S. Walter Ave. in Appleton. The portrait studio was formerly in downtown Appleton.
Open
The newest Hometown Pharmacy opens Monday at 911 E. Main St. in Winneconne. “The community seems very excited to have a pharmacy back in town,” said owner/pharmacist Jackie Nalbach.
