Seems like Luann de Lesseps wants to save her stories for the cabaret stage.
“I don’t want to get into gossip,” she told Page Six at a book launch party for her “RHONY” co-star, Barbara Kavovit, when asked about their friendship.
“I only want to talk about her book, my music video and all of that stuff,” she said of Kavovit’s new novel, “Heels of Steel,” and the singer’s music video that dropped last week.
The two posed for pictures and mingled with the crowd celebrating the “RHONY” newbie at the Dream Hotel’s PH-D Terrace in Midtown on Tuesday night.
De Lesseps, 54, whose journey to sobriety after a very public downfall last year has been captured by Bravo cameras, told us that she’s “Feeling Jovani,” a nod to her latest single. She’s heading to San Francisco, Calif., and Seattle, Wash., later this month for performances to celebrate Pride.
Remaining tight-lipped, the reality star had no new intel for us after we exclusively reported that Bravo producers may be courting Deidre Ball, the wife of ousted White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, to join the cast next season.
“I’d love to tell you ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ but I don’t know her so I can’t answer,” de Lesseps said. “But the name is interesting.”
Last week, Ball mentioned the possibility on her podcast saying, “I’d love to do the show if they really wanted me to do the show.”
