Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s Polo Outing Was “Orchestrated Front,” Says Royal Biographer – Cosmopolitan.com

  • Royal biographer Duncan Larcombe claims Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s surprise outing was an “orchestrated front” to distract from royal feud rumors.
  • Kate and Meghan joined their husbands for a day of polo and brought their children along with them.

So, yesterday Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton surprised everyone by showing up to a polo match between Prince Harry and Prince William—and they brought their adorable children with them.

The family outing honestly seemed lovely and so laid back: Charlotte and George played soccer, Louis wore sunglasses and pointed at things, and Meghan looked radiant holding Baby Archie. She and Prince Harry even shared a cute moment after he’d finished playing:

Meanwhile, Harry and William—who’ve been dealing with rumors of a royal feud for about a year—seemed to be getting along great based on this pic:

But royal biographer Duncan Larcombe is out here claiming that this entire outing was carefully orchestrated. During an interview with Nine News Australia, host Belinda Russell noted that after looking at photos from the event, one had to ask “what feud?” And Duncan gave the cryptic response, “Isn’t that what we’re supposed to think after today? It was carefully orchestrated—there are always photographers at these polo matches.”

He elaborated, “They all looked very happy today, so it’s against the backdrop of the rift of course […] I think that they might not be the best of buddies. But you’ve got to take a lot with a pinch of salt […] I think they’ll be rather pleased with those pictures.”

Hmmm. Honestly, fine, it’s entirely possible that this outing was “orchestrated” in an attempt to detract from negative royal feud press. But if that’s the case, who cares? Is it that bad that the royals would want people to know they get along just fine? Let them live!
