Dog The Bounty Hunter Shared Details For Late Wife Beth Chapman’s Memorial Service – Delish.com
A memorial service for Beth Chapman will take place Saturday, July 13, husband Duane “Dog” The Bounty Hunter shared with fans on Facebook and Twitter. The service is open to the public and will be live-streamed on WGNAmerica.com, the network that aired the couple’s show, as well as on the “Dog’s Most Wanted” Facebook page, The Wrap reports.
The funeral will be held at the Christian Heritage Center in Aurora, CO. Doors open at 1 p.m. with the service beginning at 2 p.m., Dog wrote in a post. “The public is welcome to attend,” he said. “Everyone is welcome.”
Beth sadly passed away from throat cancer on June 26. She was 51 years old.
Earlier this month, Dog shared an update with fans thanking them for their support and tentatively scheduling a July 13 service to “tuck her in, tell her goodnight, for she sleepeth.”
Duane first shared the news of her passing by saying this:
It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.
A few days later, the Chapman family held a memorial service in Waikiki, HI, USA Today reports. Attendees were asked to bring “ocean-friendly loose flowers” so as not to damage ocean life when tossed in the water, as it tradition in Hawaii. The couple had homes in both states and Beth reportedly wished for services in both places.
