Ten new permanent, moving or seasonal stores could be ready in Grand Chute by the time you’re thinking about Christmas shopping. Opening estimates are given, if known.

Fox River Mall

H&M construction wraps up in late October behind the huge black barricades near Target. The budget-minded, fashionable H&M store carries clothes for men, women and children. No opening date has been given so far for the massive store.

Lululemon will move from its pop-up location on the central corridor around mid-October to a new permanent store under construction in the former Ann Taylor spot in the Macy’s wing. The store sells athletic and yoga apparel for men and women.

Hollister Co. plans to move to the central corridor next to Victoria’s Secret. Its existing clothing store on the J.C. Penney wing is open until about Sept. 10. It aims to reopen in the new space around Sept. 20.

Vans leased a spot on the central corridor between the future Hollister space and Dry Goods. Construction will be finished in late October. Its opening date has not been announced.

Doughlicious will open its freestanding cookie dough/ice cream kiosk in the food court around the second week in September. The local company also has a new downtown Appleton store in the works.

The Shinery is a local moonshine store that temporarily moved to the center of the mall, across from Bath & Body Works. It is open now.

Callisters Christmas returns after an absence of a year. It’s a seasonal ornament shop taking the former Crazy 8 space, between Buckle and Box Lunch on the main corridor. The tentative opening is Oct. 18.

Lang, a seasonal calendar and gift store, will set up again this year in Grand Chute. This time it’s taking space inside the mall, in the former New York & Co. location on the main corridor near the former Sears. No time-frame given.

Near the mall

Skechers filed a building permit to renovate the former Dress Barn spot at 4741 W. Grande Market Drive. It hasn’t given an opening date for its new shoe store so far.

At Home, a home decor superstore, is under construction next to WG&R at the corner of West Wisconsin Avenue and Interstate 41. The store aims to open late summer/early fall.
