Microsoft/Nintendo gossip: Xbox title rumored to appear on Indie World livestream – Nintendo Enthusiast

Indies have found a comfortable home on Nintendo Switch. Classics like Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Shovel Knight have all sold well on the system. The Big N likes to promote such unique games. Therefore, it comes as no surprise a livestream airing this Monday will be dedicated solely to indies. What might be shocking, however, is a rumor surrounding a certain Xbox title making its way to Switch.

Livestream my Xbox title dream, Nintendo!

Twitter user/video game analyst Daniel Ahmad has a bold prediction for Indie World:

We’re going to see another Microsoft / Xbox first game at the IndieWorld Direct on Monday.

So far we’ve had Minecraft, Cuphead and Super Lucky’s Tale that have been Xbox exclusives come to Switch.

If you’ve been following rumors/leaks you can probably guess this one. https://t.co/hXrDJb1XxW

Quite vague, Daniel. Whatever do you mean?!

Super Lucky’s Tale, Minecraft, and Cuphead have all either made their way to Switch or have an upcoming launch. There is only one other big Xbox title fans have been clamoring for: Ori and the Blind Forest.

Oh, please be true! I have been DYING to get my hands on this gem. Though if the rumor turns out to be true, why doesn’t Microsoft just make games for Nintendo? The company has a good chance of making more money being a software developer than a console maker. Regardless, it’s heartwarming to see the two video game giants have such a strong partnership.

Lovers of gossip, do you think Ori is Switch-bound? Make sure to catch the Indie World livestream August 19, 2019, at 6 am PT/9 am ET to find out if our wishes come true.
