If you have warm and fuzzy memories of Chuck E. Cheese in Grand Chute and want to see the iconic place as you remember it, you’ve got just a few days.

It begins a major remodel Monday.

It won’t close during the redo — most of the work takes place at night — but when work is complete it will look very different.

The family restaurant/entertainment venue has been around for more than two decades at 4671 W. Michaels Drive.

This branch is one of the first of more than 500 locations getting redone as part of Chuck E. Cheese’s nationwide rebranding.

Remodeling here will wrap up by Nov. 19, said spokeswoman Josephine Mallari.

The building permit application filed with the town shows renovation costs estimated at $263,000.

Some of the coming changes:

•The animatronic stage show with robotic band will be taken out and replaced by a central dance floor that lights up kids’ feet as they move.

•Tokens will be replaced by a play pass loaded with purchased time.

•The facility will have new furniture, lighting, colors and logo.

•Pizza and salad bar menus will be updated and expanded.
