I’m a Celebrity reignites ‘strawberry-gate’ with Kiosk Kev twist – digitalspy.com

For many I’m a Celebrity fans, the infamous ‘stawberry-gate’ of 2017 is still too sensitive a subject to broach. It’s simply too raw; too fresh in their minds.

Well, I’m a Celebrity producers don’t appear to care about that one bit, as the show took fans on a trip down memory lane in yesterday’s (December 4) episode.

After Myles Stephenson and Nadine Coyle made it through another Dingo Dollar Challenge, the camp was tasked with answering a tricky question about how many people claim to know the offside rule.

When the jungle’s resident footballer Ian Wright admitted that he sometimes found the rule difficult to explain, the camp opted for the smaller percentage of the two – 33% over 53%.

Unfortunately for the celebrities, they’d scored an owl goal, and Myles and Nadine’s choice of chocolate-covered strawberries was cruelly taken away from them.

In scenes reminiscent of Amir Khan and Iain Lee’s scandalous theft of strawberries and cream two years ago, Kiosk Kev tucked into the fruit after slamming his shutters down in Myles and Nadine’s faces. The audacity.

In other I’m a Celebrity news, yesterday’s trial ‘Top of the Slops’ was branded one of the series’ ‘worst ever’ after Caitlyn Jenner and Roman Kemp were doused in the likes of mealworms, rotten fruit, and liver while rotating on a giant turntable.

“That is definitely the most disgusting trial ever!!! In every season EVER,” one viewer claimed. And honestly? We’d be inclined to agree.

I’m a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV, followed by I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp on ITV2.
