It’s happened. You’ve been trapped inside for days on end, self-isolating for the good of yourself and others. You have perfected your routine: shuffling from the bed to the couch to the bed again, with occasional pit stops to, maybe, your local park or walking trail, if you’re lucky enough to have one of those nearby. For the most part, however, life has become an indoor hustle, which is a drag for the nature lovers. This, friends, is when we turn to the movies. There are plenty of films clamoring to give you a virtual dose of nature, from the rolling hills of The Sound of Music to the redwood splendor of E.T. There’s nothing like the real thing, but in our current, calamitous times, here are a few watch list suggestions that will do in a pinch.
