8 Must-See Movies Expiring From Netflix in March 2019 – Esquire.com

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that the list of farewells from Netflix this month is pretty minimal. The bad news is that the good ones leaving the service are are some solid deep cuts. Do you want to feel seen by someone who enjoys the food and people at Arby’s as much as you? Baby Mama is only available for a few more days. Looking for an Adam Sandler flick with a heartfelt message? Click is leaving, too. Below are the eight must-see goodbyes taking off from Netflix in March 2019.

Columbia Pictures

Ghostbusters (March 1)

Who ya gonna call? Not Ghostbusters after March 1. Catch the Bill Murray/Dan Aykroyd-starring classic comedy before it exits at the beginning of the month.

Universal

The Breakfast Club (March 1)

The Breakfast Club is the quintessential John Hughes ’80s movie with dancing, thoughtful dialogue, and the grossest candy sandwich you’ve ever seen. Thank you for your service, Molly Ringwald and Emilio Estevez.

Buenta Vista

The Cider House Rules (March 1)

Possibly one of the most critically acclaimed on the list, The Cider House Rules stars Michael Caine, Charlize Theron, and Tobey Maguire in a drama about an orphanage in mid-century America, run by a doctor who performs abortions. We swear it’s not as dark as it sounds.

Universal

The Little Rascals (March 1)

The Little Rascals is the best racing movie of all time. It also stars Reba McEntire… as a race car driver. Laugh all you want at its inclusion in the top eight, but when you inevitably rewatch it, you’ll get it.

Disney

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (March 4)

Is it the best of the Pirates films? No. But the Johnny Depp-led third installment of the Disney franchise is always an easy watch, and one you’ll miss when it’s gone.

Columbia

Click (March 8)

This is an Adam Sandler movie that teaches us that the key to life’s particularities lies in a remote. Okay, the remote is a metaphor, but I bet after you watch this, you’ll stop muting your mom in your head because she is a nice lady who deserves your attention!

Relativity

Baby Mama (March 16)

Gifting us with iconic lines like “Bitch, I don’t know your life!” and “I wish this were an Arby’s because there’s better food and cooler people” is enough reason to give this Tina Fey/Amy Poehler film another watch before it disappears from the streaming giant.

Universal

Role Models (March 16)

When two energy drink salesmen are ordered to do community service, the result is a really enjoyable comedy about being there for kids, the importance of real-life role play games, and Jane Lynch’s comedic timing.
