While Gaga hit out at gossip that she’s pregnant by revealing she’s actually working on her next album, Witherspoon decided to embellish the baby rumors, and it was nothing short of hilarious.
The actress shared a photo of the cover of OK! on Instagram. One of the headlines reads, “Jen & Reese Baby Bombshells. Shock & Joy for the Hollywood BFFS,” suggesting that Witherspoon is pregnant at the exact same time as her friend, Jennifer Garner. Witherspoon captioned the photo, “Hey @jennifer.garner! Can we raise our imaginary babies together?” Understandably, fans and celebs went wild for Witherspoon’s hilarious post:
According to the Daily Mail, famous friend Gwyneth Paltrow responded to Witherspoon’s post with a series of laughter emojis, and fellow actress Sarah Michelle Gellar offered to “imaginary babysit.” Witherspoon basically took her up on the offer by replying, “Will you be the imaginary godmother?” Gellar would basically be the perfect choice, so it makes total sense.
Witherspoon has three children—Ava, 19, and Deacon, 15, from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe, and Tennessee, 6, with husband Jim Toth. Garner has three children with her ex-husband Ben Affleck—Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7. And judging by Witherspoon’s hilarious post, that’s exactly how it’s going to stay right now.
