KOHLER – New shopping options have come to the Shops at Woodlake in Kohler.

A Shop Named Sixty, a brand new store, offers men’s apparel and accessories for on and off the golf course. Scentualities, which is re-opening after renovations, is a women’s lifestyle store with everything from clothing to wellness products. The shops will host a ribbon cutting Tuesday afternoon.

“The diversity of the brands we carry in both A Shop Named Sixty and Scentualities cater to a casual and active, modern lifestyle,” said Josue Reyes, director of retail for Kohler Hospitality, in a press release.

On top of grand opening sales and promotions at both shops, 10% of proceeds from A Shop Named Sixty’s first week will be donated to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County, according to the release.

The Humane Society will be in attendance Tuesday with animals available for adoption, the release says. All adoption fees and donations will support construction of the Humane Society’s new shelter.

The dog-friendly A Shop Named Sixty derived its name from Pete Dye’s pups. Dye was a golf course architect who designed Whistling Straights and Blackwolf Run at Destination Kohler. Purchasing a dog, a leash and a collar each for $20, Dye cleverly called his first dog Sixty. Each subsequent dog he owned was given the same name.

Brands at A Shop Named Sixty include Travis Mathew, Vineyard Vines, Polo Ralph Lauren and Linksoul.

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Oct. 8 at 4:45 p.m. The shops are located at 765 Woodlake Rd. in Kohler.
