Fashion company MOCO relocates to Huron – Sandusky Register

HURON — A small business quickly outgrew its former space, recently relocating into a bigger headquarters to better serve a customer base extending across North America.

About three years ago, spouses Corey and Morgan Aldridge founded MOCO Boutique, an online clothing company primarily selling products through digital platforms, including filming live videos on Facebook. Their videos often receive thousands of views, garnering coast-to-coast attention.

MOCO — derived from the first two letters in each of Morgan’s and Corey’s names — purchases products from fashion districts, reputable vendors and high-end markets around the U.S.

Among what the company sells: clothing, primarily intended for women and children, ranging in size from small to triple extra-large; bags; shoes; beauty products; makeup; jewelry; home decor; and gifts.

After moving back to their hometown, from Strongsville, and quitting their full-time jobs, the Aldridges opened their new base within Huron’s Commerce Park Plaza on Cleveland Road (U.S. 6) earlier this year. It’s the former home of Goodwill.

They employ about 10 people in their new location, a place where workers sort through, organize and ship out products. Only during certain times throughout the year can people shop at the actual brick-and-mortar location.

“We are not a big business,” said Corey, who graduated from Huron High School in 2006 with Morgan. “We are the 21st-century version of a mom-and-pop shop. We price our products at a price point that is affordable to the average customer.”

Morgan, who’s expecting the couple’s third child, talked about her passion for fashion.

“I really like helping women feel beautiful,” Morgan said. “Sometimes, after you have kids, it’s easy to not get ready in the morning, especially if you don’t have to be anywhere. But something about having cute clothes that makes you feel good about yourself can start your whole day on a positive note.”
