I'm A Celebrity 2018: 'Oh my God!' Emily Atack in tears after HORRIFYING snake bite

Emily was the first celebrity to try a Bushtucker Trial on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! tonight as she faced the Viper Pit.

While the Inbetweeners star was initially feeling brave about the challenge, it soon became far too much.

As she tried to retrieve a star from one of the hell holes she was forced to put her hand in, she began to struggle.

The snake inside the hole did not make Emily’s task easy as it waited by the entrance to the hole.

Emily bravely tried a number of times to get the star but the snake threw itself before her.

The snake bit her twice on the hand and it ended up on the floor of the cave.

The 28-year-old could be seen crouching by the floor as the snake was pictured on the floor opposite her.

She could be seen shaking and in tears as she tried to focus on the rest of the challenge.

Meanwhile, host Holly Willoughby lost it as she realised what had taken place.

She screamed before jumping behind co-host Dec Donnelly.

Continuing with the task, Emily then lay in a chamber with snakes winding around her.

She then lay in the dark for the final minute of the trial as she secured nine stars.

Following the task, Holly congratulated Emily: “Oh my God, you are a legend.”

“I can’t believe I did it, it smells of poo in there” said Emily.

Holly informed Emily that she’s just broken a Jungle record as the Trial she’d just completed had the most snakes ever in I’m A Celebrity history, which was 50 snakes.

Emily is currently the favourite celebrity to face the most Bushtucker Trials.

Bookmakers Coral have slashed her odds of completing the tasks to 2/1.

Harry Aitkenhead explained: “Emily is our favourite to be crowned Queen of the Jungle but she’s also top of the betting to do the most Bucktucker Trials.

“It seems that punters and the public love her so much they’re desperate to see her suffer the worst of what the jungle has in store.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow on ITV at 9pm.
