I'm A Celebrity 2018: Declan Donnelly blasts Simon Cowell leaving Holly Willoughby stunned

Tonight’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 saw Anne Hegerty face the second Bushtucker Trial – Monstrous Monoliths.

But before that, presenters Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly wound back to last night, when those celebrities in Snake Rock failed to get a good night’s sleep.

And Dec couldn’t help but make fun at X Factor boss and music mogul Simon Cowell.

“Now, in the last few years, X Factor finalist Fluer East has heard some terrible droning noises,” Holly began.

And Dec added: “Like the one that goes…” Before changing his accent to Simon’s and said: ’I didn’t like it, I loved it. Congratulations Fleur you’ve made it to judges houses.’”

“She heard an even worse sound. Anne Hegerty snoring,” Holly explained.

Dec interjected in Simon’s voice: “Oh no I don’t do that, no.”

Those watching the show took to Twitter to discuss Dec’s impression.

One said: “He loves a Simon Cowell impression #ImACeleb.”

“Dec’s Simon impression is so funny #ImACeleb,” another added.

Meanwhile, scenes of Anne’s trial saw her locked into stone cages, where she was tasked with trying to unlock the stars out of clear boxes.

The first cage she managed to successfully pick the right code to unlock the padlocks and win two stars.

Anne then moved onto the second cage however the time caught up with her and after exiting the box, she shouted: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” and quit the game.

Those watching Anne’s challenge rallied round and showed tremendous support on Twitter.

One fan watching the show tweeted: “Me watch Anne went to her trail for first time and tell you she is so brave to go there and I understand her austim but she is so selfless brave queen #ImACeleb.”

Another added: “Let’s remember Anne put herself in the situation and at any point can get herself out of it. She wants to try trials and test herself like anyone else. She isn’t there for a pity party #imaceleb.”

“I think if we give Anne a few more days or maybe another week she’ll ease into this a bit more she needs more time to comprehend what’s going on #ImACeleb,” one commented.

“Anne has made me so proud! Even going on I’m a celeb is a massive achievement! The whole of the UK love and will always support you Anne #ImACeleb,” a tweet read.
