Was Priyanka Chopra really mad at Meghan Markle for skipping her wedding? Here's what she said – AOL
Remember those reports that Priyanka Chopra was angry about pal Meghan Markle not attending her wedding to Nick Jonas?
Well, the former “Quantico” star couldn’t help but laugh at the rumors.
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on Thursday night, she dispelled the claims after a fan called in wanting to know the truth about the Duchess of Sussex skipping out on Chopra’s December wedding to Jonas in India, despite the fact that Chopra attended Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding seven months earlier.

“My question is for Priyanka: Are the rumors true, that you were upset that Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?” the fan asked via phone.
“They said you didn’t go to her baby shower because you were pissed at her,” Cohen added.

One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi.
Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.

“Oh, my god!” Chopra laughed. “No, it’s not true.”
At the time, sources claimed that Meghan and Harry decided not to attend the wedding because she was several months pregnant at the time and wasn’t traveling as much. It’s worth noting, of course, that Meghan traveled to both New York City and Morocco over two months later.

Though she didn’t elaborate on Meghan specifically — the former “Suits” star’s closest friends notoriously remain pretty tight-lipped when it comes to their newly-minted royal pal — Chopra did answer some of Cohen’s other pressing questions about her over-the-top nuptials.
When he asked who cried the most at their days-long wedding, the actress revealed that it was her husband who shed the most tears.
“He cried! I cried. He cried. It happened so fast so just seeing him…” Chopra said of the moment she walked down the aisle. “I had a freak out moment right before I walked down the aisle: I was about 40 minutes late, because I was like, ’75-foot train? Do I even know what I’m doing?’ Like, a full freak-out moment and then the door opened and I saw his face and I was just like…”

As for which fellow Jonas Brothers star, Joe or Kevin, got them the better wedding gift, the Indian-born star was egalitarian in her answer.
“Well the good thing is that Kevin got us, like, hundreds of bottles of wine and Joe got us an amazing fridge which looks like a car to put it all in, so it kind of worked out,” she said with a smile.
