Coachella 2019 officially kicked off on Friday, April 12, and it’s safe to say that the annual music festival is off to a truly epic start. On just the first day alone, festival-goers got to witness surprise appearances from Cardi B, Selena Gomez, and Jordyn Woods, not to mention crowd-pleasing performances from Kacey Musgraves, Janelle Monáe, and Rosalía — just to name a few.
Of course, it’s impossible to talk about Coachella without talking about the fashion, and this year’s celebrity looks did not disappoint. Some stars brought all the yeehaw energy possible, while others opted for classic — yet totally ‘grammable — denim cutoffs and crop tops. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star was definitely channeling her witchy character with this black maxi dress, complete with ruffled layers and fluttering sleeves.
Alisha Boe
13 Reasons Why actor Alisha Boe also went with the LBD vibes, opting for a form-fitting long dress with a flared hem, adorned with gold buttons down the front. The black boots were definitely the cherry on top of this chic look.
Cardi B
Never one to shy away from a bold look, Cardi B stunned in a powder-blue bodysuit with fringe all along the lower half, while sharing the stage with Selena Gomez. To add to her look, Cardi wore a corset-like floral vest, cinched tightly around her waist with a thick belt.
Selena Gomez
Selena opted for an all-white suit, complete with romantic lace sleeves and wide-leg trousers, for her performance alongside Cardi. She kept her hair long and loose, braiding just one portion of it along the side of her head.
Jordyn Woods
Between surprising the Coachella crowd during Jaden Smith’s set and appearing in her first-ever music video, Jordyn has had quite the busy weekend! The model looked ready for the warm desert weather in a sheer lime and yellow shirt over a lacy bra, paired with light denim cutoffs.
BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK made Coachella history by being the first female K-pop group to take the festival’s stage — and they looked amazing while doing so. Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé all rocked coordinating outfits of white, black, gold, and silver, complete with lace-up boots and eye-catching jewelry.
Vanessa Morgan
The Riverdale actor was the embodiment of Coachella fashion in a matching crocheted crop top and mini-skirt, paired with tan booties. Her look was topped off with a handful of rainbow-colored beads in her blonde hair, and plenty of body glitter.
Tommy Dorfman
Actor Tommy Dorfman couldn’t resist a good Instagram moment as he posed in front of a sparkly pink wall in a half-open button-up shirt, ripped jeans, and boots. The 13 Reasons Why star also had a cute fashion moment with Billie Lourd at an event sponsored by UGG and Desert X.

Speaking of Billie, she also found a ‘grammable backdrop in the desert, posing in front of a bright orange wall, dressed head to toe in a similar hue. Even the straps of her sandals showed off the burnt orange shade, perfect for an afternoon at Coachella.

Fringe is definitely having a moment this year at Coachella, and Kacey went all-in on the trend with her long-sleeved orange fringe dress. The singer-songwriter accessorized the pumpkin-colored garment with a vibrant gold belt…and zero shoes. You do you, Kacey!
Halsey
Fresh off the excitement from her collab with BTS, Halsey took a moment to pose for the ‘gram at Coachella with Youngblud. The “Eastside” singer was seen wearing a tie-dye crop top, denim shorts, and black high-tops with neon green laces — AKA summer in an outfit.
