The Voice season 16 is about to come to an end. Finalists Maelyn Jarmon, Andrew Sevener, Dexter Roberts, and Gyth Rigdon are currently battling it out for the prize, as coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend cheer them on—and provide honest feedback along the way.
But as this competition comes to a close, we have to ask: How long do we have to wait until The Voice is back again!? Fortunately, the NBC show has already been renewed, and will return this fall with another batch of wildly talented singers. Here’s everything to know about season 17 of The Voice.
Who are the coaches?
Adam, Blake, Kelly, and John will all return as the coaches this fall. Which means even more of the shady comments, hilarious habits, and personal anecdotes that we know and love, courtesy of the pro panelists.

This will be Adam and Blake’s eighth year on the series, as they’ve been along for the ride since it began in 2011. Kelly has served as a coach for three seasons, with the upcoming being her fourth. (She’s won two out of the three times, though. Just saying.) John is no longer the new kid on the block after this year, as he’s definitely learned a thing or two during his inaugural round.
Will Carson Daly be back?
Yes! Host-with-the-most Carson will take on his duties once more. Here’s hoping he’s full of the same sass and revealing segues as usual.
When will “The Voice” premiere?
The return date is yet to be announced, but we do have good news about the time. This season, the network started airing the elimination episodes at 9:00 p.m. EST instead of 8:00 p.m. EST. But order will be restored come September, as the Tuesday night episode will run at 8:00 p.m. once more, according to Entertainment Weekly.
