RELATED: Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood Arrested For Domestic Violence
New details have emerged in regards to Teen Mom, Amber Portwood’s domestic violence arrest over the weekend.
Apparently, Amber went after her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon with a machete. Luckily, Glennon was not hit, but, he was on the other side of a door that received quite a beating.
Following the incident, Amber was arrested for three felony charges, including domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. The judge also served her with a restraining order which says she cannot go anywhere near Andrew or their son until the criminal case is solved.
According to TMZ, court documents show that Andrew was also interviewed by the Department of Child Services who recommend that James be put in Andrew’s custody. Andrew notes that Amber is “currently unable to provide a safe, stable, and secure environment for James on an ongoing basis due to her frequent refusal and/or failure to take medicines prescribed to treat her mental-health conditions, among other concerns.”
Amber is due back in court later today for an emergency custody hearing in regards to her son James.
