• This year’s countdown will feature a whopping 40 new movies.

Sure, Christmas is still a good five months away (who’s counting?), but we’re already gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year. Hallmark is making it even easier to get excited, as the network just revealed the official kickoff date for its annual Countdown to Christmas event—and you don’t even have to wait until December to get your holiday film fix!

This year’s lineup, which will air on Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama, will begin on Friday, October 25, according to BroadwayWorld.com. Oh, and that’s not all. Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe star Lacey Chabert will also give a sneak peak into the festive flicks with the “2019 Christmas: A First Look Preview Special,” which airs on Saturday, July 13 at 10 pm. EST.

Although we don’t currently have the full schedule for 2019, we do know that several fan favorites will be featured this year. In May, Hallmark gave CountryLiving.com an exclusive look at a few clips from the upcoming movies. The video features Candace Cameron Bure—who starred in the 2018 airing A Shoe Addict’s Christmas—Danica McKellar, and Marrying Father Christmas and When Calls the Heart star Erin Krakow.

But wait—there are many more famous faces you’ll be thrilled to see, including Nikki DeLoach and Chad Michael Murray. Of course, we can’t forget about The Voice coach Blake Shelton’s role: No, the country singer isn’t acting, but he will be executive producing one of the films.

Ah, with so much excitement already, we’re tempted to begin our countdown early. Thank goodness Hallmark is airing Christmas movies every Friday night!
