VIDEO: Henry Cavill Awkwardly Agrees That He’s Still Superman In New Interview – Heroic Hollywood

Justice League star Henry Cavill can’t talk about his future as Superman and that’s making things akward during his interviews at San Diego Comic-Con.

Henry Cavill’s future as Kal-El in currently in doubt but the British actor will soon trade his Superman costume to bring Geralt of Rivia to life in Netflix’s highly-anticipated adaptation of The Witcher. While doing the press rounds for the upcoming Netfix series, Henry Cavill spoke to Entertainment Tonight about getting in shape for his role as Geralt in comparison to his training regimen for Superman.

During the interview, Henry Cavill had an akward reaction whe the interviewer mentioned that he’s “also Superman” in addition to Geralt of Rivia. You can check out his reaction in the video below.

Earlier today, Henry Cavill also shared the following photo on his Instagram stories, making fans once again curious about his current status as the DC Extended Universe’s Man of Steel.

Last year, Henry Cavill dropped out of talks to return as Superman for a cameo in the Shazam! movie. Shazam! still managed to feature a cameo from his version of Superman, though the film was not able to show the Man of Steel’s head in the frame of his shots as Henry Cavill still had yet to work out a deal with Warner Bros. and DC Films by the time the film was released. Rumors have also swirled suggesting that Warner Bros. will be focusing on Supergirl in the DCEU going forward instead of Superman. 22 Jump Street writer Oren Uziel is writing the script for the Supergirl film which will be an origin story for Kara Zor-El.

Henry Cavill can be as Superman in Man of SteelBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. After The Witcher, Cavill will next be seen in Enola Holmes with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

Clay Enos Shares Hi-Res Stills Of ‘Batman v Superman’, ‘Justice League’ & More

Batman v Superman Wonder Woman Justice League Suicide SquadPhotographer Clay Enos has shared a huge batch of new hi-res stills from DCEU films such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, Justice League, and Suicide Squad which includes several new images of Jared Leto as The Joker.

The hi-res images range from stills to behind the scenes photos featuring directors Zack Snyder and David Ayer working with cast members including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Will Smith as Deadshot. In addition to the new images of Jared Leto’s Joker, a new image of Gadot as Wonder Woman in her own standalone film is included among the hi-res stills.

Batman v Superman Wonder Woman Justice League Suicide Squad

Warner Bros. and DC Films have many projects currently being developed including The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.

The DCEU continues this month with Aquaman which is now playing and will be followed by Shazam! on April 5, 2019, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020.
