[GALLERY] Comic-Con ‘Picard’ Museum Gives Us Our First Look at Costumes & Props From the Series – TrekNews.net

With the debut of Star Trek: Picard just a few months away, CBS has created a pop-up museum at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con focussing on the life and career of Jean-Luc Picard.

The installation, which is located within the Michael J. Wolf Gallery in downtown San Diego, includes screen-used props and costumes from both Star Trek: The Next Generation and the upcoming Picard series.

Star Trek: Picard was first announced in August 2018 at Star Trek Las Vegas, and will see Patrick Stewart return to the role of Jean-Luc Picard, alongside Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd and Evan Evagora. It is produced by Stewart himself along with Alex Kurtzman, James Duff, Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth and Aaron Baiers.

Production began in April, and it is expected to wrap in mid-September. The series will debut in late 2019 on CBS All Access in the United States and will be available through Amazon Prime Video in most other countries.
