Eric and Lara Trump welcome second baby, President Trump’s 10th grandchild: ‘We love you already!’ – USA TODAY

Eric and Lara Trump have welcomed their second child, President Donald Trump’s  10th grandchild, Eric announced late Monday night.

“@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world. We love you already!,” he tweeted just before midnight EDT. 

Eric’s older sister, Ivanka, sent the growing family her best wishes early Tuesday morning on Twitter: “We love you Lara, Eric, (big brother) Luke and sweet Carolina! ❤”

Baby Carolina makes 10 grandchildren for President Trump, including her 1-year-old brother Luke. There’s also Don Jr.’s five kids with ex-wife Vanessa: Kai, 12, Donald III, 10, Tristan, 7, Spencer, 6, and Chloe, 5. Ivanka has three children with husband Jared Kushner: Arabella, 8, Joseph, 5, and Theodore, 3. 

Eric Trump, 35, is the third child and youngest son of the president and his first wife, Ivana. Eric Trump and older brother, Don Jr., run the president’s company, The Trump Organization.

Lara Trump, 36, is an adviser to the president and host of his “Real News Update” who faced criticism earlier this year when she told 800,000 federal workers that the government shutdown may have inflicted a “little bit of pain,” but was worth it.

The couple married in 2014 and welcomed their first child, Luke, in September 2017. Lara announced on social media in April that they were expecting their second child. 

“BIG NEWS: Luke (& Charlie & Ben 🐶) can’t wait to become big brothers this August!!” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a family picture with their son and dogs. “We’re all very excited to add one more to our family!”

Eric also shared the news and family photos on his Twitter account saying, “Luke will be a great big brother!”
