Stacey Dooley: ‘Breaks my heart’ Kevin Clifton’s girlfriend reveals ‘shocking’ news – Express
Stacey Dooley, 32, uploaded a video to the picture-sharing site where she thanked her 756,000 followers for their support after she announced the news of her live tour. The Strictly Come Dancing star who is currently dating her beau Kevin Clifton, 36, said the response regarding the tour has been “bl**dy lovely”. In the clip, Stacey mused: “Gang. The response to our tour announcement today has just been so bl**dy lovely. I’m really shocked at how many people have sent such lovely messages. “It just breaks my heart when I see you tagging your pals and saying we’ll go here, can we do this date etc.”
She continued: “I really, really don’t take it for granted. I know money is short and with the tickets we’re asking for money, so we won’t let you down.
“I’m going to make sure you have an amazing time.”
The documentary-filmmaker chatted about what people can expect from the live tour called Conversations with Stacey Dooley.
“I’ll be a tour expert because I’m coming straight from the back of the Strictly tour,” she explained.
“We’re going to sit down and just have very honest, candid, hopefully interesting conversations about my career so far, the topics we’ve covered.
“I want it to be super informal, super casual but I just want you to love it.”
She finished: “Thank you, thank you, thank you and have the best weekend.”
It comes after Stacey announced she will be touring the UK in February 2020 for a one on one chat with her supporters.
Conversations with Stacey Dooley will see the Strictly champion share tales from her career so far, discussing the challenges of journalism in a constantly shifting media landscape, and much more.
In addition to this, Stacey will be taking the reins from previous Strictly 2016 winner Ore Oduba, to front the upcoming live dance tour that will launch in Birmingham early next year.
She will be joined by a handful of celebrities and professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing’s current series.
Elsewhere, Stacey appeared to make a dig at at her co-star on Comedy Central’s Blockbusters last night.
The documentary presenter took aim about Oti Mabuse’s past partners on Strictly.
Dara asked: “Oti, be honest with us.
“The people you danced with, there must have been times where you’ve gone… this one’s rubbish.”
The audience erupted as Oti burst out laughing.
But before she could answer, the performer’s co-star Stacey interjected: “Graeme, Graeme Swann!” she joked.
Oti was partnered with the cricketer in last year’s competition and was the ninth celebrity to leave the show.
