LIAM HEMSWORTH DISCOVERS THIRST TRAP: Liam Hemsworth scurried over to Google after a photo of his was labeled a “thirst trap” by his Isn’t It Romantic co-star Adam DeVine. The Aussie discovered his thirst trap status after sharing a black-and-white shot of himself and his dog Dora, taken by his brother Luke. Liam responded to DeVine’s comment, writing: “I just googled thirst trap. 100% true,” adding a wink emoticon.
DAKOTA JOHNSON’S ELLEN DEGENERES INTERVIEW GOES VIRAL: An RSVP misunderstanding between Dakota Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres has taken on a life of its own. Last week, the Fifty Shades of Grey star swung by DeGeneres’ talk show, and when the host started chatting about Johnson’s recent 30th birthday party in Malibu, things got awkward. “How was the party? I wasn’t invited,” DeGeneres jested, before Johnson quickly reminded her that she was included on the event’s guest list. “Actually, no, that’s not the truth, Ellen,” Johnson corrected. “Last time I was on the show, last year, you gave me a bunch of s— about not inviting you, but I didn’t even know you wanted to be invited,” Johnson said in the recent appearance, to which DeGeneres responded, “Well, who wouldn’t want to be invited to a party?” Johnson said: “Well, I didn’t even know you liked me.”DeGeneres replied: “Of course I like you. You knew I liked you.” Silence. “You’ve been on the show many times, and don’t I show like?”
CHRISHELL STAUSE SPEAKS ON SPLIT: Shortly after news broke that she and her husband of two years, Justin Hartley filed for divorce, Chrishell Stause is speaking out. On Monday, Chrishell posted a cryptic Nishan Panway quote to Instagram, which read, “It’s hard to watch people change right in front of you. But it’s even harder remembering who they used to be.” A commenter wrote: “Been through this! Keep your head up and keep moving forward! Time does heal! Surround yourself with the people that got you and we’ve all got you!” Sources told ET: “People close to Justin and Chrishell are completely shocked by Justin filing for divorce. The couple has always been incredible with no signs of things being on the rocks. Friends are speculating this was an impulse on Justin’s side due to something that happened, and are hopeful the couple can work things out.”
ALEXIS BELLINO RESPONDS TO BACKLASH: Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino is responding to backlash over her move to publicly slam her housekeepers for not cleaning properly. She wrote in Instagram: “I can and will post whatever I want on my IG. My maids are well paid for and I love them. It was a joke.” She continued, “Get over yourselves, stop trolling, find happiness and please unfollow me ASAP as I’m not looking for your approval on my IG and I don’t need followers.”
TIFFANY HADDISH WILL HOST THE OSCARS … IF: Tiffany Haddish told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she would consider hosting the Oscars “if they paid me and I could do it with somebody… If you did it with me I would do it,” she told Fallon. “Like, I don’t want all that pressure on me ’cause I’m gonna lose my hair and then I’m gonna have to really wear wigs all the time. It’s too much stress. I mean, unless they paid me, like, a lot of money. I’d be like, ‘It’s worth it!’” Still, she says, if she does, it will be “hot” and “fun.” No doubt.
NICK OFFERMAN’S SWEET SESAME LESSON: Nick Offerman puts his crafting skills to work on Monday’s The Kelly Clarkson Show. The Parks and Recreation alum taught the cast of Sesame Street, Clarkson and fellow guest Kellie Pickler how to create homemade string art ornaments. “You need five things,” Offerman said, adding in a tease for Cookie Monster. “A slab of wood. It’s cookie-shaped. Don’t mean to be misleading. Some small nails, a hammer, a template and some string.” Offerman hosts crafting competition show Making It with Amy Poehler.
