Bridal Buzz: This Weekend in Trunk Shows – My New Orleans

The first month of the year is wrapping up quickly and a few bridal stores in and around the city are marking the end of January with bridal shows and events.

First, Town & Country Bridal will host a Martina Liana Preview Show Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. The show will include a member of the Martina Liana design team, who will be on hand to help style brides. According to its event page, Town and Country says this will be the first time anyone will see the collection of gowns and many bridal stores and the public will not have access to the collection for another year. Calling it “a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” the show includes special incentives and pricing. A space can only be held by appointment only, which can be booked online.

I Do Bridal Couture in Baton Rouge, as well as its sister store in Covington, will host trunk shows Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. The Baton Rouge location will have the newest collection from GALA by Galia Lahav called Collection No. IX. These high fashion couture gowns are known for the more modest price point and are only available by appointment – which can be booked by calling the store at 225-361-0377.

I Do Bridal Couture in Covington is hosting a Lela Rose Fall 2020 Collection trunk show Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. This collection is said to feature a more sophisticated look and classic, flattering silhouettes and handcrafted details. This even is also by appointment only and can be made by calling 985-327-5598.

Wedding Belles is currently hosting an August Jones – The Best of Augusta Jones trunk show at the Magazine Street store through Feb. 2. Special incentives will be applied during the event. Make an appointment by calling the store at 504-891-1005 or online at weddingbellesnola.com.

As previously reported, The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe is hosting a Jewelry Sip and Shop with Heidi Hull Designs Jan. 31 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. The event includes bubbles, beignets and giveaways according to an Instagram post.
