Kathy Griffin hospitalized in coronavirus ward
ET reports Kathy Griffin has been transported to a “COVID19 isolation ward,” but is struggling to get tested for coronavirus. The comedienne responded to President Donald Trump’s claims Wednesday that the U.S. is doing “far more ‘testing’ than any other nation” by posting a photo of herself in a hospital bed with a medical mask. “He’s lying,” Griffin, 59, wrote. “I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms. The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions.”
Kylie Jenner donates $1 million
E! reports Kylie Jenner has donated $1 million to coronavirus relief efforts. One of her doctors, physician and OB-GYN Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, said Wednesday that the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star gave $1,000,000 to help healthcare workers buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear for first responders. “I have never felt more blessed to be a doctor, as helping our brave ER and ICU workers feels just as gratifying as helping my own patients,” Aliabadi said.
