best movies to watch

Usually, when you Google “what movie should I watch,” you either get a fancy list of intellectual Oscar-nominated films no one has ever heard of or a bunch of “classic” movies from the ’80s that everyone *pretends* to like, but no one actually does (yes, I said it). This story is not that. I’m not a professional movie critic, but I do love movies and I have a lot of strong opinions on them.

So, if you’re looking for some normal-person movie recs to help pass the time while social distancing, check out my personal favorites that you should stream ASAP (most of which are available on Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+, btw). These are the best comedies, chick flicks, horror movies, dramas, and biopics to watch now.
