Matthew Perry has been seen heeding the advice of his Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston as he was photographed wearing a face mask while out and about.

The 50 year old actor, who played Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom, was spotted with a face mask around his chin, ready to be put over his mouth and nose, as he stepped out in Beverly Hills on Monday 29 June.

Matthew, who was recently seen looking very different from his Friends days after his split from his girlfriend of two years, matched the blue face covering with his outfit as he wore a light blue shirt, which he had open to show off the dark grey top underneath.

Matthew wore a pair of dark, loosing fitting jogging bottoms and a pair of dark baseball trainers to complete his casual look.

Friends star Matthew wore his salt and pepper locks in a spiky hair-style and donned a slight bit of stubble as he stepped into a waiting car.

The actor looked deep in thought after stepping out of an office building in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

Shortly after leaving, Matthew was seen puffing on a freshly-lit cigarette.

Matthew’s Friends cast mate Jennifer Aniston is sure to be pleased by Matthew’s latest sighting as she recently urged fans to wear a mask in a lengthy Instagram post.

Jennifer, 51, took a photo of herself looking stunning without any makeup on and a black mask covering her nose and mouth.

In the caption the actress, who is reported to have an “unbreakable bond” with her ex husband Brad Pitt, made a moving plea for fans to wear the masks when going out in public.

She wrote: “I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion.

“And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough.

“I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe.”

Jennifer added: “People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask.

“This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate,” followed by a praying emoji.

She ended her caption with:⠀”If you care about human life, please… just #wearadamnmask and encourage those around you to do the same,” followed by a red heart emoji. [sic]
